The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, July 20, reveals that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) stumbled over a morgue and treatment story, so John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) learned Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) was his real rescuer.
First on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Finn barked at Sheila to move, but she begged him to stop since his health had to be the priority.
After Finn passed out, Sheila put him back in bed and warned against blowing all his amazing progress.
That progress brought questions for Finn, who didn’t understand how Sheila pulled off that death certificate or got him out of the morgue.
Finn also wanted specifics regarding his treatments, procedures and feedings while he was unconscious all that time.
Sheila got a bit rattled, so Finn pointed out she didn’t know because she wasn’t a doctor and hadn’t been a nurse in years.
After Sheila admitted she wasn’t the one who saved Finn initially, he asked who else got him there and who else knew he was alive.
Finn said he deserved to know the truth and demanded that Sheila tell him.
Sheila finally confessed it was Finn’s adoptive mother, so Finn reeled over Li saving him and wondered where she was now.
Sheila stayed silent, so Finn pushed her to admit what she did to Li. As Sheila remembered Li’s fiery car crashing into the water, she stared back at Finn.
In the interrogation room, Mike Guthrie (Ken Hanes) faced questions about Sheila’s escape.
Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) acted like anyone could make a mistake and suggested that Mike’s cooperation would be taken into consideration if he confessed.
Mike denied helping Sheila and suggested that their paths merely crossed from time to time back in the day.
Although Mike admitted to walking on the wild side years ago, he pointed to his clean record now.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) got agitated and thought it was obvious that Mike was lying.
Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) tried to convince Mike to help them get justice, but Mike claimed he didn’t know where Sheila was.
Baker once again hinted that Mike should give Sheila up since they would eventually find her.
Ridge argued that when they did, Mike would be living in prison rather than working there!
At Il Giardino, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) visited Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and admitted coming there reminded her of the double shooting.
Deacon was still haunted by that night and thought it was senseless for Finn to be gone.
Hope acknowledged how traumatizing finding Finn and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) must’ve been and hoped Deacon was talking to someone.
However, Hope added that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) didn’t count since she was too close to the situation.
Deacon said he didn’t need a shrink and got updates on the cops looking into Sheila’s accomplice.
After Hope fished for more Sheila info, Deacon insisted he hadn’t seen or spoken to Sheila and hoped his daughter believed him.
Hope assured Deacon that she did before talk turned to Mike Guthrie.
That rang a bell for Deacon, who reflected on what an emotional chameleon Sheila could be – vulnerable one minute and a gun to your head the next.
Hope mentioned that Brooke and Ridge went with Baker to question Guthrie, so she was hopeful about finding out where Sheila was hiding.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say the walls will close in on Shelia sooner or later, so stick with the CBS soap.
