The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Wednesday, July 20, teases that Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) confession will surprises Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) while Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) pushes Mike Guthrie (Ken Hanes) to rat Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) out.
During Mike’s interrogation, Ridge will rage at Mike and pressure him to admit he’s in cahoots with Sheila again.
Of course, Mike may act like he’s done with his scheming days and point to his otherwise perfectly good track record as a prison guard.
However, Ridge and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) will rehash Mike’s history with Sheila, who always had a tight grip on him.
Since Sheila would expose Mike in a heartbeat if she were in this position, Ridge will think it’s time for Mike to come clean.
Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) will also ask some tough questions regarding the escape, so Mike will have a big decision to make.
Ridge will hope to get confirmation on Mike’s role in the getaway and score some help tracking down Sheila’s hideout.
Unfortunately, Mike will inevitably have a hard time selling out his partner in crime.
Meanwhile, Hope will console Deacon after he makes a surprising confession.
Deacon will confide how traumatic it was to see Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) after the double shooting.
If Deacon mentions going to therapy, Hope may think that’s great news and proof that her father’s grown as a person.
The old Deacon wouldn’t have taken a mature step like that.
Deacon may admit Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) has been helping him work through his feelings or choose to keep that detail to himself.
Either way, Hope may be proud of Deacon for getting some professional assistance.
Hope will eventually turn Deacon’s attention back to Sheila and perhaps question him about her accomplice.
Deacon might learn that Mike is a person of interest and assure Hope that he still doesn’t have any information that could be pertinent to the investigation.
Next, Sheila will manage to stop Finn from making a break for it, but she’ll also drop a horrible bomb.
Finn is on the verge of learning what happened to Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), so Wednesday’s B&B cliffhanger may kick off that awful admission.
After Finn insists a real doctor had to be involved in his recovery, Sheila will reveal that Li helped until she perished in a car blaze with a soggy ending.
That shocker will take some explaining as Sheila tries to make an angry Finn understand.
Luckily, Li survived Sheila’s reign of terror and will make a big comeback in the not-too-distant future.
