The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, July 27, reveals that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) was able to burst in Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) hideout before Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) shared a heartwarming reunion.
At Bill’s place on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Li insisted that Finn was alive, but Bill and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) assumed she was confused due to her trauma.
Li argued that her son was with Sheila and explained how she saved Finn when the doctors gave up on him.
Since Li knew Finn was a fighter and just needed time, she revealed that she smuggled him out of the hospital and signed the death certificate.
Li said she was nursing Finn back to health, but then Sheila tracked her down and discovered her son was alive.
Liam realized Li’s reluctance to have a tombstone or memorial service suddenly made sense.
Li explained how Sheila had chased her car before it crashed into the water and then Bill found her in the alley.
Liam declared that if Finn really was alive, it was because of Li.
After Liam said Steffy needed to know, Bill argued that they had to keep this quiet.
It wasn’t safe with Sheila in charge of Finn. Li said she’d know the building if she saw it, so Bill vowed to take her while Liam called Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin).
At the hideout, Finn claimed he wanted to believe there was good in Sheila, but it felt like he was being punished.
After Finn pointed out that none of this was sustainable, Sheila reflected on how things could’ve been different if Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) had just accepted her.
Finn ranted about Sheila blaming Steffy, but Sheila complained about not being given a chance to prove herself.
Steffy wouldn’t allow it, so Sheila said she just lost it and argued that Finn wasn’t supposed to be there that night.
Finn lashed out over Sheila trying to justify this unforgivable thing, but she begged him not to say it was unforgivable.
After Sheila pointed out that she saved Finn with those paddles, Finn asked her to let him live his life.
Although Sheila claimed she’d never deprive Finn of his family, he said that was exactly what she was doing. Finn once again begged Sheila to let him go.
Since the softer approach wasn’t working, Finn eventually warned that Sheila would never terrorize Steffy again and added that she’d never know Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Piper Harriot).
On the plane to Monaco, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) worried that Steffy could never come back from losing Finn, but Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) said they’d make sure she did.
That said, Ridge knew Finn was the only person who could lift the darkness – and he was gone forever.
Later, Taylor mentioned that Li seemed to have disappeared on social media and thought it was odd.
After falling asleep briefly and using Ridge as a pillow, Taylor woke up from a wonderful dream where Finn and Steffy were together.
Back with Finn, he got out of bed and insisted his time with Sheila was over.
Sheila finally decided she wouldn’t stop Finn from finding Steffy, so he hobbled toward the door.
Before Finn could exit, Bill burst in and marveled over Finn really being alive.
After Bill said Finn was safe now, Li appeared in the doorway and ultimately rushed into her son’s arms.
Finn hugged Li in relief as he realized she wasn’t dead after all.
Nearby, Sheila looked panicked over Bill and Li’s arrival – especially after Li glared in her direction.
