The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Wednesday, July 27, teases that John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) rescue will get underway – and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will reel as the survival news spreads.
At Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) house, he’ll struggle to wrap his head around Li Finnegan’s (Naomi Matsuda) identity and her latest revelation.
Bill never dreamed the random woman he saved from the alley would turn out to be Finn’s mother – nor did he imagine she’d reveal that Finn is alive!
Of course, there’s no way Bill is buying the idea that Finn survived just yet.
Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) certainly isn’t based on the sympathetic look he had following the bombshell.
It’s clear that Liam is concerned for Li’s mental well-being and no doubt thinks she’s had some sort of break from reality.
Bill may also gently nudge Li to accept that Finn is gone, but she’ll insist she’s not talking crazy.
Li can recap how Finn’s doctors gave up on him and forced her to take drastic action.
Since Li refused to give up on bringing Finn back, she signed the death certificate and snuck Finn off to a hideout.
Once Bill accepts that what Li’s saying is true, he’s going to wonder where that hideout is.
Li may warn that Finn is in grave danger with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) in charge of him.
Bill and Liam will also hear about Li’s Sheila horror and realize how important it is to get a rescue underway.
It won’t be long until Bill gets an address and takes off to save Finn from his twisted birth mother.
However, Finn will keep working on his escape by riling Sheila up and trying to gain the upper hand.
We’ll see Finn try to push Sheila over the edge and hope he can catch her off guard in an emotional state.
Hope will also join the conversation regarding Finn’s survival, so Li’s big news will start to spread rapidly.
Liam will make a phone call at some point, so he may try to get in touch with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen).
Until then, B&B spoilers say Taylor and Ridge will discuss Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) unbearable grief.
It’ll break Ridge and Taylor’s hearts, but it’ll also give them something to reconnect over as they travel to Monaco.
This plane ride could stir up some old feelings and make Taylor wish Ridge had chosen her instead, but she’ll try to accept his Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) decision.
The main thing right now is concentrating on Steffy and helping her through her time of crisis.
