The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Wednesday, June 1, tease that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will fight to wake up while Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) share a tearful goodbye.
Steffy has started to come around on Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) suggestion of getting out of town for a while.
Part of Steffy doesn’t want to feel like she’s abandoning Finn and all the memories they made at the cliff house, but another part of her is suffocating under so much grief.
Steffy talked about how signs of Finn were everywhere – like she could just say his name and he would answer her.
As Steffy cried Finn’s name repeatedly, B&B viewers saw Finn react in that room Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) stashed him in.
Finn’s eyelids were fluttering slightly like he sensed Steffy calling out to him.
Once Li sees signs of progress, she’ll offer more encouragement and push Finn to come back to the family he left behind.
Will Finn finally open his eyes and wake up right as Steffy catches a flight to Europe?
That’s where Steffy is headed with Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay), Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Piper Harriot) and Amelia (Nicola Posener) – just as soon as she says her goodbyes.
One of those goodbyes will be to Liam, who’ll take Steffy in his arms as she crumbles.
Steffy will be a mess of emotions, so Liam will see that this trip might be good for her – even if it’s tough to bid farewell for now.
As for Finn, he seems to be on the verge of waking up, but it could be a fake-out ahead of a longer delay.
It’s possible we’ll see Finn dream of Steffy and fight more of an inward battle, but fans are certainly rooting for him to open his eyes ASAP!
Regardless, Finn’s recovery is going to be a long, slow process. Li will have to continue working with her son and will fight to get Finn back to his old self.
That means Finn and Steffy will be separated for a bit, so Steffy will try to heal her broken heart in Europe while Finn tries to heal his mind and body back in LA.
Of course, Finn and Steffy’s reunion is coming up down the road, but it’ll take some time to build to it.
