The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, June 15, reveals that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) woke up to a mother swap as Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) attacked Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) to take charge.
At Li’s hideout, Sheila struggled to wrap her head around Finn’s survival and fumed over Li keeping quiet all this time.
Li admitted she let Sheila suffer and stepped up to save Finn herself as his “real mother.” Although Li didn’t think she owed Sheila an explanation, she told the story of how she saved Finn anyway.
Sheila reeled over Li letting everyone believe Finn was dead, even Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). “You’re even crazier than I am,” Sheila declared.
Sheila insisted that Finn needed a hospital and that it wasn’t negotiable. However, Li refused to take Finn back to the doctors who offered no hope and felt she had it all handled.
At one point, Sheila kept Li’s ringing phone away from her as the argument escalated.
Suddenly, Finn woke up muttering and seemed to be asking for his mom. Li rushed to Finn’s side as B&B fans saw her blurry figure from Finn’s perspective.
Moments later, Sheila bashed Li in the head to knock her out.
That allowed Sheila to take Li’s place as she started coming into focus for Finn.
Sheila told Finn that his mama was right there by his side and still couldn’t believe he was alive.
At Forrester Creations, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor Forrester (Krista Allen) debated whether they should stress Steffy out with the news of Sheila’s escape.
Ridge worried Sheila would do everything in her power to get to Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Piper Harriot), so Taylor ultimately agreed about giving Steffy the heads-up.
Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) also got updates before Taylor insisted they had to call Li with a warning.
Although Ridge didn’t get an answer, he left a message about Sheila’s escape and the threat she posed.
At the beach club, Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) tried to explain her affair to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and insisted it was really more about the connection between two people looking for comfort.
Hope was still upset since Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) was Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) wife, but she softened a bit hearing Donna describe the butterflies she felt every time Eric kissed her.
Donna was grateful to Hope for not calling her a homewrecker, so Hope asked if Donna had met her mother!
That said, Hope admitted she wanted to talk to Eric about his marriage and wondered whether this affair was happening as a reaction to what Quinn did with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).
At the Forrester mansion, Eric didn’t get why Quinn was concerned enough about his health to bring Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) into this.
After Eric got grilled about his beach club activities and whether he might be doing anything too strenuous, he downplayed everything.
Bridget thought it was good that Eric had such an interest in fitness and backed Quinn up for wanting to keep him around as long as possible.
In a moment alone, Bridget assured Quinn that her smart ring secret was safe and encouraged her to keep monitoring Eric.
Quinn insisted she would watch Eric like a hawk and then turned her attention back to him as Bridget left.
When Quinn asked if Eric was upset over her reaching out to Bridget, he insisted he was merely surprised.
Quinn told Eric that she was always concerned about her loving, loyal husband, so Eric looked rather guilty as they hugged.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Quinn’s smart ring could lead to even more problems, so stick with B&B.
