The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, March 23, reveals that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) pushed Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) for the truth while Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) vowed to wait for Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
At the cliff house on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wondered what Thomas had gotten himself into.
John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) asked if Thomas’ interaction with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was confrontational, but Steffy wasn’t close enough to know much.
Steffy could, however, tell that Sheila and Thomas wanted their privacy.
Steffy left since she didn’t want to give Sheila a chance to spin this, but she needed to know what was going on.
Finn thought maybe Thomas just wanted to put Sheila on notice and protect his family.
Finn brought up how Sheila was his birth mom and suggested Thomas was being cagey with Steffy because of that.
Steffy mulled it over and said that made sense. She knew how much Thomas wanted Taylor and Ridge back together, so she assumed there was nothing he wouldn’t do to make it happen.
Finn thought Sheila was on her best behavior right now and didn’t think this Thomas situation was anything to worry about.
After Finn assured Steffy that everyone would be OK, he held his wife close and pointed out that the kids were asleep.
Although Steffy ruined Finn’s surprise dinner plans by beating him home, he hinted about being quick on his feet.
Steffy eventually entered the bedroom, which was filled with candles and rose petals.
Once a shirtless Finn joined Steffy, they showered each other with compliments before making love.
At Forrester Creations, Thomas looked at Sheila’s number on his phone and seemed pensive.
Taylor showed up hoping they could grab a bite to eat, but she could tell something was wrong.
Thomas tried to downplay it, but Taylor pushed her son to open up.
Since Thomas seemed out of sorts, he blamed it on his worries about his parents’ reconnection.
Thomas just wanted everything to work out since Taylor shined with so much love.
Thomas felt that Ridge could pour that same love into Taylor and didn’t want anything to get in the way.
Taylor pointed out that it wasn’t Thomas’ responsibility to bring his mom and dad back together.
Thomas knew that, but he also wanted to help if he could.
After Thomas’ gushed over his parents’ love for each other, Taylor said he made it sound like they were soulmates.
Although Taylor’s love for Ridge had never changed, she acknowledged that he still had a lot going on with Brooke.
Taylor hated to admit it, but she hoped for a second chance to have a life with Ridge – and Thomas hoped for that, too.
At Brooke’s place, she reminded Ridge that they vowed to get through anything in sickness and in health.
Ridge countered that those weren’t the only vows they made that day. He insisted that he just came by to check on Brooke and make sure she wasn’t drinking.
Brooke told Ridge that letting him go was the worst mistake she ever made. She begged Ridge to come home and be her husband.
Brooke knew she set Ridge free, but she thought that you had to hold onto something if you wanted it badly enough.
Brooke argued that their story couldn’t end like this. She loved Ridge and missed him, so she once again asked him to come home.
Brooke acknowledged her terrible mistakes and knew she had broken Ridge’s heart, but she believed they could get through this together.
Brooke said Ridge was her destiny and didn’t want their journey to end.
Brooke urged Ridge to go down this road with her, but he said he didn’t come there to have her beg for forgiveness.
Ridge was just concerned about Brooke’s drinking, but she insisted she didn’t want a drink. All Brooke wanted was Ridge.
Brooke argued that what happened that night didn’t change how much she loved him.
Ridge didn’t know what to believe, but Brooke said she loved him with her entire being.
Brooke understood why Ridge couldn’t be there with her right now, but she vowed to wait for him.
Brooke added that she’d always love Ridge and knew he’d always love her, too.
As Brooke started to walk away, Ridge stopped her and admitted she was right – that he’d always love her. Brooke and Ridge then shared an emotional embrace.
