The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Wednesday, September 28 Recap – Thomas Surrenders Knife to CPS – Ridge Pushes Brooke

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, September 28, reveals that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) surrendered his knife to CPS before Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) pushed Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) for the truth.

At the Forrester mansion, Ridge wondered if the CPS officers had a warrant or something, but they just wanted to spend a few moments with Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) and check on his well-being.

After Ridge and Thomas let them in, the CPS officers introduced themselves to Douglas and gently questioned him.

Douglas was confused, but he offered happy responses and didn’t see why he’d feel scared or unsafe when he loved living at the mansion with his dad.

Once Douglas was sent elsewhere, the CPS officers insisted they had to investigate every call and added that they’d received one about a knife incident.

Thomas was forced to show them his pocket knife, so he urged them to keep that thing and acted disgusted that anyone would think Douglas was in danger.

Ridge played up what a good father Thomas was before the CPS officers thanked them for their cooperation and left.

Once they were alone, Ridge said they had to make sure this didn’t go on Thomas’ permanent record.

After Ridge questioned who called Child Protective Services, he warned that whoever it was had made a big mistake.

At Brooke’s house, she argued that Douglas was an impressionable boy who wanted to emulate his father.

That’s why the knife incident worried Brooke, who also found Thomas’ attitude troubling since he kept dismissing her.

Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) thought maybe it was time to escalate things and pointed out that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) couldn’t know for sure that Douglas was safe when she wasn’t there.

Hope eventually got defensive since she was monitoring the situation and being a responsible parent, but Brooke still had grave concerns about Douglas living in Thomas’ care.

At Forrester mansion again, Ridge flashed back to Brooke threatening to call CPS if she had to.

That led to Ridge getting Brooke on the phone and revealing how upset he was about the Child Protective Services visit they just had at Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) place.

Ridge noted that Douglas had been questioned along with Thomas, so he had to ask Brooke something – even though he didn’t want to.

After Ridge asked if Brooke called CPS on Thomas, she scoffed like she was in total disbelief.

At Forrester Creations, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was tense as she spoke with Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) and Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) about work.

Once John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) showed up, he also noticed Steffy’s foul mood and wondered what was going on.

Steffy admitted Brooke was on a rampage, so she was furious over her acting like Douglas wasn’t safe with Thomas.

Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) popped up after Zende and Paris took off and realized there’d been some Brooke drama.

After Charlie joked about making this a Brooke-free zone until he got the all-clear, Finn suggested making the office off-limits to everyone for now.

Charlie realized Finn and Steffy wanted some privacy, so he made himself scarce.

Steffy resumed ranting about Brooke, but Finn didn’t think Brooke could do anything beyond complaining.

However, Steffy argued that Brooke would do whatever it took to get what she wanted.

Brooke never gave up, but Finn insisted that Steffy never gave up either and said that was one of the many things he loved about her.

Finn hugged Steffy as he comforted her, but she still looked uneasy.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say this CPS mess will snowball into even bigger problems, so stay tuned.
