The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap review for the week of December 12-16 reveals that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) finally broke free from their Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) war. It was fantastic to see Ridge cast aside by both women, but will the peace really last?
After Taylor and Brooke informed Ridge that he wouldn’t be choosing either one of them, they shared a happy high five and went off to celebrate.
It was adorable that Brooke and Taylor were excited enough to buy a cake for their freedom party.
Taylor also had a nice conversation with Brooke about how she never wanted to be her enemy.
That led to Brooke and Taylor exchanging some genuine compliments – and they even called each other “friend” in the end.
Social media was certainly abuzz over Brooke and Taylor’s huge news.
Some B&B viewers were thrilled to see Taylor and Brooke getting along at last.
Other fans thought this instant friendship seemed a bit forced considering all the feuding they’d done over the years.
However, Taylor couldn’t believe they spent all that time fighting over a guy and proposed a pact to prevent it from happening in the future.
When Taylor suggested they should vow never to fight over Ridge again, Brooke gladly agreed.
Of course, vows were made to be broken on B&B!
Taylor and Brooke became new besties over this mutual decision to drop Ridge like a hot potato, but the situation may chance once one of them caves.
Brooke has never been able to stay away from Ridge for too long, so we find it hard to believe she’ll suddenly be a whole new person.
Ridge and Brooke seem destined to reunite despite this big show about moving on.
That’s bound to enrage Taylor down the road, so she may lash out and make this friendship a thing of the past.
Between Taylor’s jealousy and Brooke’s betrayal, it could be enough to reignite this war like never before.
For now, Ridge is paying the price for is lack of commitment. Since Ridge should’ve chosen one woman to be with a long time ago, it’s only fair for him to suffer alone for a while.
