The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap review for the week of November 14-18 reveals that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) was a gullible bride – and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was a proud papa as Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) continued to scheme.
B&B viewers watched as Ridge blew up the rehearsal dinner with a huge announcement.
Ridge finally came clean about Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) calling CPS on Thomas, which was the turning point that sent him back to Taylor.
Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) then asked if that’s why Ridge was marrying her mom. Of course it is, Steffy!
It’s easy to see that Ridge found out what he thought was a horrible betrayal and reacted by speeding to the altar with a safer ex.
Ridge tried to deny that, but we all know it’s true.
Even Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) was baffled by Taylor’s inability to see this as a big red flag.
Shouldn’t Taylor’s training as a therapist show her that rushing into this marriage is a bad idea?
To be fair, Taylor did battle some doubts on the morning of the wedding.
Ridge should’ve told her what happened with Brooke when he came to Aspen, but he chose to keep that under wraps.
However, Taylor told herself it was because she probably would’ve kept running – and honestly, that’s exactly what she should’ve done.
With Steffy and Thomas’ encouragement, Taylor has convinced herself that Ridge will truly stay committed to her.
Unfortunately, history has proven that Ridge will reunite with Brooke time and time again.
Taylor is letting her own love for Ridge hinder her thinking, but she’ll regret that down the road.
In the meantime, let’s talk about devious Thomas and the truth he’s trying to bury.
Thomas has been pressuring Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) to keep quiet about the voice recordings – and he urged Ridge not to say anything to Brooke about the CPS call either.
Ridge ended up embracing Thomas and talking about how proud he was of the man and father he’d become.
Sadly, B&B fans can see that Thomas hasn’t changed at all, so it’s just a matter of time until Ridge sees that, too.
