The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap review for the week of October 17-21 reveals that Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) deserved better while Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) earned a big downfall.
First, let’s discuss the offscreen exit story that B&B delivered for Quinn.
The writers had to come up with something to explain Quinn’s departure after Rena Sofer left, but it seems like they made some wrong choices.
Quinn stole Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) out of his wedding to Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) – a woman ready to give him marriage and a family – only to break up with him because she couldn’t offer those things.
It’s just sad that Quinn bolted on Carter like that, especially since Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) had to show up and explain.
Couldn’t Quinn have written a letter about how much she cherished their time together and how she had to set him free?
Instead, Shauna apologized for Quinn’s harsh treatment of Carter and highlighted her bestie’s erratic behavior.
Most of the growth we’d seen for Quinn went right out the window.
To make matters worse, Carter doesn’t even seem that broken up about losing the love of his life.
Although Carter and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) have chemistry, this pairing should’ve been given more buildup instead of moving full-speed ahead with intense flirting and kisses.
As for Thomas and Steffy, they continue to be insufferable about Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) reunion.
How many times do we have to hear “Mom and Dad are back together” and listen to the Forrester siblings gloat?
Steffy and Thomas even held a meeting at Forrester Creations about Ridge reuniting with Taylor – like it was some sort of business announcement that everyone just had to know.
When Ridge inevitably ends up back with Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), it’ll be tough to feel sorry for Steffy and Thomas since they’ve basically thrown a “Tridge” parade daily.
That’s especially true since Thomas is behind the CPS call that drove Ridge away from Brooke in the first place.
Bottom line, Thomas and Steffy have earned their downfall with all the gloating they’ve been doing.
Once it’s time for Steffy and Thomas to suffer through their parents’ split instead, they’ll absolutely deserve the pain!
