The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap review for the week of October 24-28 reveals that it was raining men for Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) while Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) proved she’s the worst secret-keeper ever.
For starters, we should point out that it was nice to get some fun B&B surprises.
It can get old fast when Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and their parent-trapping children just sit around talking about how great they are.
Likewise, we don’t need a million scenes of Brooke repeatedly wondering why Ridge left her.
The show has a real problem with repetitive dialogue, but they were still able to deliver some intriguing new scenarios and exciting moments.
Although most of us expected Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) to chase after Brooke, it was shocking that he skipped the whole dating pitch and went straight to an engagement ring.
Brooke turned Deacon down, but she was gentler about it than expected and seemed touched by the gesture.
Of course, Brooke also got a reunion pitch from Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), so Katie Logan (Heather Tom) seemed amused over all these men lining up around the block for Brooke.
It seems like Brooke can pretty much have her pick except for the one guy she inexplicably still wants – and that’s Ridge.
Brooke would be better off without Ridge at this point, but she keeps pining away.
Now that Taylor has purchased Wyatt Spencer’s (Darin Brooks) beach house, it’s exciting to know the show will have another set to feature more often.
Variety is always a good thing on B&B, so we welcome Ridge and Taylor’s new chapter in their former home.
At Forrester Creations, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) came face to face with the Hope mannequin, so that was a fun shocker that raised the stakes of Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) story.
It’s a reminder that Hope really doesn’t need to be letting her guard down as much as she is.
Paris also caused trouble by forcing Hope to admit Thomas was hot to shut her up.
Although Paris insisted it was a safe space and judgment-free zone, she promptly revealed Hope’s confession to Thomas – and she was sure to leave out any appropriate context!
It was bizarre for Paris to gush about Thomas being a bad boy and act like it was such an attractive thing.
Doesn’t Paris realize Thomas has a disturbing history of being dangerously obsessed with Hope? Why would Paris want to stir the pot like this and tempt fate?
Later, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) behaved a bit out of character by being rather harsh with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Since Douglas previously seemed to love spending time with Liam, it feels like a plot point to have him push Liam away for his “real” family.
Nevertheless, Henry Joseph Samiri is a fantastic young actor, so we love that Douglas is taking on a bigger role in this story.
There’s the potential for much more drama now that Douglas is so eager to see Thomas and Hope reunited.
