The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that we have to ask which secret is worse: Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) hiding Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) near relapse or Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) concealing her almost kiss with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson)?
Both secrets are pretty dangerous under the circumstances, but Hope and Liam have their reasons for keeping things under wraps.
Of course, Liam and Hope could live to regret the secrets in their marriage, so let’s take a deeper look at what they’re hiding.
B&B fans will recall that Brooke nearly fell off the wagon at one point, but Liam was there to stop her.
In the aftermath, Brooke was relieved when Liam agreed to keep her momentary lapse in judgment under wraps.
Brooke didn’t want to add any more stress to Hope’s life, so Liam decided to respect Brooke’s privacy in this particular situation.
However, Hope would certainly be upset if she knew Brooke almost drank and Liam didn’t tell her about it.
This could become a bigger issue if Brooke has a genuine relapse – and she easily could now that the annulment is actually happening.
Reality might set in for Brooke and leave her tempted by alcohol once again, so she could surrender to that temptation without someone like Liam around.
If Liam’s secret has serious consequences, there’s going to be trouble.
Even if nothing major happens, Hope could still lash out at Liam once she learns he kept this from her.
Nevertheless, Hope is keeping a huge secret of her own since Thomas leaned in for a kiss recently.
Although Hope rejected the lip lock before it ever happened, the fact that Thomas crossed the line is a big deal.
Liam is waiting for Thomas to show his true colors, but he arguably already has.
It’s just that Hope is letting Thomas get away with his excuses and setting herself up for other risky predicaments.
Once Liam inevitably finds out Thomas tried to kiss Hope, he’s bound to fly into a rage.
Liam won’t understand why Hope wouldn’t clue him in on Thomas’ obsession reaching that level.
