Tonight on NBC their new medical drama “The Good Doctor” airs with an all-new Monday, November 21, 2022, episode and we have you The Good Doctor recap below. Their heated stalemate tests Shaun’s patience and his willingness to compromise.
Meanwhile, when the hospital loses power, Lea and Dr. Aaron Glassman are forced to come up with a quick solution or risk a total shutdown that could risk patients’ lives.”

Tonight’s The Good Doctor episode begins with Shaun, it is barely 7 am and he is up, wearing a cooling vest because it is going to be really hot. And, he has a neck fan, a personal hydration pack and a cooling hoody. He tells Lea it is an investment in their future.
Audrey can’t believe how hot it is in the hospital. Shaun arrives and tells Danica that she is with him today. They talk and he finds out that Danica told Audrey not to rush into the surgery, Shaun reminds her that she is a first year resident, and she says she has more experience with disables.
Alex is examining a 90-year old, her name is Edna, she tell him that he is easy on the eyes. All of a sudden, Edna passes out, Alex does chest compressions, her heart is back.
Shaun’s patient is Brooks, he is 41 years old and passed out driving his bike.
Jordan’s patient has two following blankets, nothing is working, she is heating up.
Asher tells Morgan that he saw her profile on Tinder, no wonder she is grumpy.
Alex tells Edna that the CT scan they did shows a tumour from her right lung until her belly. At her age, he doesn’t think she can survive surgery. She will have another six months or so. She tells him that if won’t do the surgery, she wants another opinion.
Brooks can’t breathe, Shaun calls a code blue and orders a crash cart.
Shaun and Danica discuss their opinions on Brooks.
It’s 108 degrees outside, Asher and Morgan are out looking for Art, he is 100 years old and he escaped from the hospital.
Lea notices that Shaun is grumpy with Danica, he says he doesn’t like her, and she is annoying. She is contrary. Lea says the first step in getting past his issues with her is identifying them.
Jordan is with Daniel, he tells their patient that the heat has damaged her to her heart and lungs, it is permanent and she is dying. Jordan tells her she is dying very soon, in a matter of hours. She asks about her family, she says she has none, her husband passed last year. She talks about them booking a trip to Paris finally to celebrate their 60th but he got cancer, and she said no, they had to get him better first.
Aaron goes in to see Edna, to give her a second opinion.
Aaron tells Edna that the tumor is a monster, she may not survive. She still wants the surgery. Aaron goes to see Alex and tells him they are doing the surgery, but he disagrees. Aaron says it is her call.
Marcus talks to Lea because the electricity has already gone out and he is worried about the backup generator.
In surgery, Shaun tells Danica they should talk about why don’t like each other. They try to talk it out but Shaun gets frustrated and tells her she is off the case.
Asher and Morgan find their guy who tries to make a run for it, albeit very slowly.
Shaun tells Brooks that he wants to do exploratory surgery, he asks where Danica is and when he finds out she is off the case, he says he wants her back to challenge Shaun. If can’t work with her, he will find a man who will.
Morgan and Asher bring “Art” into the ER, but Art is already there, who did they kidnap?
Danica encourages Audrey to join in a game of basketball with other people in wheelchairs. Audrey scores a bit she also falls down onto the floor with another player.
Danica gets a message that she is back on the case.
Edna is in surgery, and Alex and Aaron are doing it.
Asher and Morgan try to find out who their “Art” is but he is not talking. But someone just called the ER, his name is Sam and his grandson, who is a lawyer, is coming to pick him up.
Jordan and Daniel put some device on her eyes, it shows a walk-around tour of Paris, she is so happy, she holds Daniel’s hand and calls him her husband Marty.
In surgery, Danica gets frustrated with Shaun, she says he doesn’t have to like her but he has to listen to her ideas. All of sudden, the power goes out in the hospital. Lea is trying her best, she is working with a team to try and get power back asap. Meanwhile, Shaun and Danica are continuing to operate, The power comes back, and everyone is grateful.
Asher and Morgan are waiting for Sam’s grandson who says Sam just recently started to wonder, they probably saved his life. They are heroes after all.
May has passed away, Daniel thanks Jordan, he tells her that she is an amazing person.
Edna is alive, she is doing very well considering.
Morgan tells Asher, the whole of her life is not because she doesn’t have a boyfriend, she wants a child.
Danica tells Shaun that Brooks is doing very well.
