Tonight is the final showdown of round 2. There will be a double elimination, Nick announces, He introduces the panel and then shares there will be a guest panelist. Leslie Jordan comes out! Leslie chooses Team Cuddly.
Ms. Teddy is up first. She shares she started out performing young and didn’t the ropes just yet. She had her ups and downs. She owes it all to her fans. She takes the stage to sing Mercy. Leslie loved her performance. Ken thinks this is Yolanda Adams. Leslie thinks this may be Cynthia Staples from the Supremes while Jenny thinks it’s Gloria Gainer.
Jenny switches to Team Good before a look at Armadillo. Armadillo shares that he was once locked up but some great advice turned his life around. In the clip, a Text flag can be seen. His performance of Amazing Grace makes Nicole cry. The panel is in awe. They think this could be Dog the Bounty Hunter or Tommy Lee Jones.
The Ringmaster is up next. A look at some clues first; she might have a comedic background, but she has always done her own thing. She joined the in-crowd but still wanted more. She did something difficult and it has been paying her back ever since. She sings I Will Always Love You. The panel has goosebumps. Jenny calls her epic. Nicole and Leslie are blown away. The Ringmaster shares that music is her first love. Robin thinks of Sarah Hyland. The panel guesses Kacey Musgraves and Noah Cyrus. Nicole thinks maybe Maron Morris.
It is time for the final showdown. They all take the stage. Miss Teddy and Ringmaster sing the song One Way Or Another with Armadillo. Ken thought the final showdown was pure joy. The votes must be counted and two will go home. The singer with the most will advance to the season finale.
The votes are in. The first to be announced that didn’t make the cut is Armadillo. The panel makes their last guesses, Gary Busey, Dog the Bounty Hunter, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Al Pacino, Ken believes! They all laugh. It’s time to take off the mask. The singer revealed is…..Dog The Bounty Hunter. Jenny was right.
The second to be unmasked tonight is Teddy. The panel is sad to see her go. This leaves Ringmaster to move forward to the season finale. Nick is sorry to see Teddy voted out but wants to know who it is. Ken thinks Yolanda Adams, Jenny thinks Gloria Gainer, Robin thinks Karen Clark, Nicole thinks Jennifer Holiday. Leslie agrees with Nicole. It is time for Teddy to remove her mask. The audience chants take it off. It is Jennifer Holiday. Nicole and Leslie were right! Nicole tells Jennifer how much she loves her.
That’s a wrap on round two! Miss Teddy sings one last time.
