The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) may push Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) into Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) bed. Abby will have her husband play the hero to this damsel in distress, but it could have some unanticipated consequences.
For starters, Chance and Chelsea have already had multiple scenes where they’ve been able to relate to each other.
It seems like Chance’s guidance is easier for Chelsea to accept than others in her life.
Chelsea snapped at Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) because they were pushy.
Chance took a gentler approach and simply offered his own therapy experience, so he wasn’t trying to treat Chelsea like she was losing it.
Of course, the show has also established a friendship between Chelsea and Abby.
That’s why Abby will grow concerned when she realizes Chelsea is having a hard time.
During the week of September 5-9, Abby will apparently spot Chelsea in a low moment.
Chelsea might end up crying alone somewhere and lash out when Abby tries to help.
That could be why Abby turns to Chance and asks him to reach out to Chelsea instead.
Y&R spoilers say Abby will indeed encourage Chance to ride to the rescue, but will she also push him right into Chelsea’s bed?
Fall preview spoilers point to some marriage difficulties for Chance and Abby.
The cracks in their foundation will be exposed as Abby and Chance see that perhaps they rushed into tying the knot.
Meanwhile, we’ve got Chelsea, who is obsessing over men that have rejected her.
Chelsea even had flashbacks of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) pushing her away, so that could set the stage for Chelsea to end up with someone else.
Whether Chelsea and Chance have a real romance or not, they could at least hook up.
If Chance’s marriage is falling apart and Abby is shoving him in Chelsea’s direction, it could certainly add up to cheating.
Abby and Chelsea’s friendship could be destroyed along with what’s left of Abby’s relationship with Chance when this is all over.
