The Young and the Restless (Y&R) video preview for the New Year’s episode teases that Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) will enjoy the holiday with his friends Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E Bregman). Danny will sing with Traci and Lauren as they toast their champagne, hoping 2023 is a wonderful year for all.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) sits on a bench at the park, thinking and crying about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). She doesn’t like the direction of their relationship.
They aren’t spending time together, as all his time is dedicated to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). Lily receives a text from Daniel Romalotti, Jr (Michael Graziadei) wishing her a Happy New Year.
Lily doesn’t respond immediately. However, the Y&R spoilers suggest Lily and Daniel will end up hooking up shortly.
At Chelsea’s apartment, Billy leaves her apartment with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), sleeping on the couch. Billy seems conflicted about his life.
He may not be ready to lose Lily, but it looks like that’s exactly what will happen. Lily refuses to keep coming in second to Chelsea and her struggles.
Meanwhile, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) paces as she worries about her future.
The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Sally could be thinking about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), but it’s more likely that she’s concerned about being pregnant. It would be the worst-case scenario for her to doubt her child’s paternity.
At the club, the bartender pours Adam another drink. He’s thinking about his conversation with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), who thinks Connor should live part-time at the ranch and reduce his time with his mother, Chelsea.
While Sally worries about her future, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) enjoys a brownie and coffee with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) at Crimson Lights.
They seem engrossed in conversation, toasting their mugs to the new year.
The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will grab Diane Jenkins’s (Susan Walters) hand to wish her a Happy New Year.
They look intently into each other’s eyes. The weekly Y&R spoilers state that Jack will pull Diane into a hot embrace, kissing her passionately.
It looks like Diane will grow closer to Jack while Lily makes a painful decision.
