The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) may ban Grandpa Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) from Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware). Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) may object and cause the custody drama to reignite, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
For starters, we should point out that Abby and Tucker have a VERY troubling history.
Abby didn’t approve of Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) relationship with Tucker, so she resorted to drastic action as she fought to keep them apart.
Abby vandalized all Ashley and Tucker’s wedding decorations and got herself arrested at one point.
Longtime Y&R fans will also recall how Abby tried to push Tucker in Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) direction to prove he was a philanderer who wasn’t worthy of Ashley.
Abby even got drunk and ran over Tucker, which led to serious brain injuries and nearly cost Tucker his life.
That’s why Abby’s stunning encounter with Tucker will stir up some unsettling memories during the week of October 3-7.
Now that Tucker is back in the picture and scheming with Diane, Abby may be as distrustful of him as ever.
Based on how Tucker interacted with Diane, he’s definitely in sinister mode and not in the mood for games.
However, Tucker will want to reconnect with Devon and will be welcomed into the fold at Chancellor-Winters.
Devon will want Tucker to be part of his life – and that’ll surely include spending time with Dominic, too.
Abby and Devon have finally found a peaceful co-parenting arrangement, but that could go right out the window thanks to Tucker’s return.
Since Tucker and Abby have such a contentious past, she may insist she doesn’t want Dominic around him.
If Devon pushes back too hard, custody drama could reignite once more.
We also know Abby will face growing issues in her marriage, so Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) might side with Devon and cause problems.
It’s easy to see how Tucker’s comeback will create a ripple effect all over Genoa City and set the stage for major conflict.
