The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will reevaluate their feelings as 2023 gets underway. Now that Abby’s had some time to make peace with her divorce, it could open her heart to something new.
Abby was crushed when Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) first dropped the official split news on her.
It was hard for Abby to let go of the future she hoped to build with Chance.
However, Chance might be right about wanting different things and not being able to satisfy those desires for each other.
In Chance’s opinion, Devon is the man that Abby’s looking for instead, so she may start to accept that.
Abby and Devon share a biological link to Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware), so that changed their bond.
Devon and Abby connect on a deeper level than they did before, so that’s deepened their attraction, too.
Y&R spoilers hint that Abby and Devon won’t be able to resist each other during the week of January 2-6.
Of course, Devon and Abby may see no reason to even try resisting since they’re both single now.
Devon lost Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), so there’s nothing holding him back from a future with Abby if that’s what he wants.
Likewise, Abby may move past her initial reservations and determine that she needs to pursue this passion.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon and Abby will face a hot turning point.
There’ll be some sizzling scenes as Abby and Devon presumably hook up again, so that could lead to some relationship status updates.
Once Devon and Abby sleep together without any commitments dragging them down, they might embrace their shot at happiness.
The new year is the perfect time for a fresh start, so Abby and Devon may seek a new beginning as a real couple.
Devon already assured Abby that nothing would ever mess up their friendship, so that includes dating.
It’s very possible to date your best friend, so that could be where this storyline is headed.
As long as Abby and Devon keep putting Dominic first, they can surrender to what they feel for each other and see what happens.
Devon, Abby and Dominic could become a united family if all goes well, though Chance will always remain part of the picture.
