The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) may move in with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Will Abby accept an offer after Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) potentially kicks his wife out of the Chancellor mansion?
Chance told Abby that he needed some time and space to figure things out, but he didn’t offer much hope for their future. After walking in on Abby and Devon’s betrayal, Chance just doesn’t see a solution for their broken marriage anymore.
Although Abby didn’t imagine crossing that line with Devon, Chance admitted he saw it coming for quite some time. It was inevitable as far as Chance was concerned, so Abby’s next move may be inevitable, too.
Fortunately, sleeping together hasn’t wrecked Abby and Devon’s bond. In fact, it may have actually brought Devon and Abby closer.
In Y&R’s November 10 episode, Devon admits part of him doesn’t regret what they did. Likewise, Abby hints that maybe they wanted this to happen deep down and even suggests they might not feel so guilty if they hadn’t gotten caught so quickly.
All of that leaves the door open for Abby and Devon to become a real couple – or at least deepen their connection as they mull over the possibility.
Regardless, Abby surely won’t want to stay at the Chancellor mansion if her marriage is over. If Chance stands his ground and decides divorce is the only path forward, Abby will know she needs to move out.
Instead of Abby staying at The Grand Phoenix or at the Newman ranch, Devon could easily open his home to her. That would make sense from Devon’s perspective considering they share a child.
Devon may try to sell Abby on the idea since they could both spend time with Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) and avoid putting him in an unfamiliar environment like a hotel suite.
It’s not like Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will be around anymore, so there’ll be nothing standing in Abby’s way if she wants to accept Devon’s potential invitation.
Will Abby move in with Devon after moving out of the Chancellor mansion? Will that bring these bio parents even closer than before?
