The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) may face a frantic search for Max Rayburn (last played by Jared Breeze). Will Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor’s (Rainn and River Ware) surprise sibling be a potential bone marrow donor match?
Y&R has launched a health crisis storyline for Dominic – one that could easily lead to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) learning he’s not the boy’s true father.
If Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) pulled off a sperm swap, he could be revealed as the bio dad instead.
Of course, that would make sense considering the way the writers are taking this story.
Dr. Bradley wanted to do a bone marrow aspiration, so perhaps this is building to a transplant situation where Dominic will need a bone marrow donor.
Dom’s best shot at a bone marrow match would come through a full sibling, which he doesn’t have.
However, Dominic would have a half-sibling in Max – at least if Stitch is indeed the “baby daddy” through a sperm switch.
From a soapy standpoint, it’d be dramatic for Abby to realize all this and become desperate to find Max.
Maybe Abby could turn to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) for help ramping up the search or even take her plea to Stitch public through the media.
Stitch stole Max from his facility and disappeared with him, so that storyline has always needed closure.
It’s weird to just have Stitch and Max lingering off the grid somewhere.
Could this bone marrow story lead to some stunning revelations and bring Max into the drama as a possible donor match for Dominic?
The writers might end up going in another direction, but it’s at least worth mulling this one over.
Max caused Abby’s miscarriage, so it’d be an interesting twist if he was ultimately the one to save Dominic.
It could also offer Stitch some redemption if he learns of Abby’s emotional plea, brings Max back and turns himself in.
Regardless, Dominic’s test results will bring more concerns during the week of February 14-18 and set up the next phase of this shocking storyline.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby will do whatever it takes to help Dominic, so that could mean fighting hard to locate Stitch and Max!
