The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) may ask Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to live together soon. Will Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) flip out over his dad’s bold move with his girlfriend?
Y&R fans know Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) was just talking to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) about Connor heading into his difficult pre-teen years.
Chelsea feels like she’s the enemy now and can’t do anything right in Connor’s eyes.
Connor was already rather bratty, but it sounds like the problem’s getting worse!
That could spell trouble once Sally and Adam inevitably decide to take the next step in their relationship.
Adam is crazy about Sally, so it’s reasonable to assume he’ll want to live with her at some point.
They’ve been hooking up at the office and The Grand Phoenix, but neither of those options is ideal.
Plus, Sally and Adam will want more alone time as they continue to fall for each other.
Adam has already been planning to get a new place of his own away from the Newman ranch.
Sally has an apartment, but this could be their opportunity to move in somewhere that they pick together.
It’d be great to see Sally and Adam’s romance progress into cohabitation – at least for “Ally” fans!
Connor, on the other hand, may not be pleased at all. As Chelsea pointed out, Connor was quite disappointed over his parents not getting back together.
Although Connor liked Sally when he first met her, that could change if he starts viewing her as Adam’s replacement for Chelsea.
Connor might resent Sally and consider her another woman standing in the way of a “Chadam” reunion.
Since Connor is obviously going through some of the typical growing pains, that could make his mood even worse!
Chelsea mentioned that Connor has been hinting about a possible return to boarding school.
If Connor balks at the idea of spending time under the same roof with Adam and Sally, he might move forward with the back-to-boarding-school plan.
That could leave Sally feeling guilty and Adam feeling frustrated, so it’d be a good obstacle for these two to overcome.
Nevertheless, Connor is getting older and needs to start understanding that the universe doesn’t revolve around him.
Perhaps boarding school is indeed the best place for Connor since the show doesn’t like to use kids much anyway.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally and Adam’s love will keep blooming, so that should lead to them living together when the time is right.
