The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will hijack Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) date with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and steal his brother’s spot at a romantic table for two.
During the week of October 10-14, Nick will want to keep the fun vibe going with Sally, so he’ll make some romantic arrangements.
Although Sally is worried about getting her heart broken, Nick also warned about the dangers of playing it too safe.
Now Sally and Nick are content to move forward with an undefined romance.
Nick and Sally are just going to go with the flow on whatever this is, so there’s no pressure to label it.
That said, Sally and Nick may feel comfortable calling this upcoming night together an actual date.
What Nick and Sally won’t anticipate is Adam’s decision to crash their lovely dinner.
Adam will end up sliding across from Sally at an outdoor table and toasting her with Champagne.
Sally will smile back at Adam, but that doesn’t necessarily mean she’ll approve of his behavior.
It could be a situation where Sally knows Nick is going to kick Adam right out once he gets back – perhaps after stepping away for a work call.
Sally might act like she’s going to enjoy watching Adam get cast aside.
Then again, it’s possible Sally will truly get a bit swept up in the moment with Adam.
Despite her best efforts, Sally can’t shut off her feelings for her former flame, so this may be one of those times when her spark with Adam remains strong.
Adam might even daydream a more positive outcome to this hijacked date night where he wins Sally back.
It wouldn’t be the first time Y&R used a fantasy to show how much a character is pining.
Regardless, Adam will derail Nick’s evening with Sally and leave his brother fuming.
Nick will also wind up grilling Sally about her lingering love for Adam, so things are about to get messy in this triangle!
