The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) may land back in prison if Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) turns the tables on his scheming son. It wouldn’t be the first time Victor made sure Adam ended up behind bars!
Adam is stirring up trouble by going after the evidence on Kevin Fisher’s (Greg Rikaart) GCPD laptop and trying to expose the truth about Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) death.
Victor got away with the cover-up so far, but Adam could put that cover-up in jeopardy.
However, Victor is starting to accept that Adam is a true Newman outsider now.
Although that’s not what Victor wanted, he can’t force Adam to embrace his family or his Newman legacy.
In fact, Adam’s plan to actively go against the Newman clan could cost him.
Victor will do everything in his power to avoid another stint in prison and protect the Newman fam as usual.
Of course, Victor might also find himself pushed too far – and in that case, he might plot to have Adam locked up.
Whether Adam goes down for stealing police proof or some other crime, Victor may need to neutralize the threat for a while.
Victor is also someone who can be pretty vengeful when he wants to be.
After the chaos Adam could potentially unleash, Victor may feel the need to teach him a lesson.
Since Victor previously framed Adam for Constance Bingham’s (Sally Kellerman) murder and had him tossed in the slammer, Adam should know better than to underestimate his father!
If Victor inflicts more punishment on his son, can you imagine how furious Adam will be?
Adam would love to watch Victor squirm during more jail time, but Adam may be the one staring at the walls of a jail cell soon.
The threat of prison will be there for both Victor and Adam as we eventually move into some fall drama, so they’d be wise to proceed with caution.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam could regret targeting Victor if he’s not careful, so stick with the CBS soap.
