Y&R fans know Ashland trusted Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), who managed to trick him out of $250 million and broke his heart. Now Ashland wants revenge and is hoping Adam can be the one to help him get it.
The show’s weekly preview video makes it seem like Adam will officially get on board – and that lines up with the vengeful attitude he’s had lately.
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) has been concerned about Adam heading down this vindictive road, but things could shift eventually.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) knows Adam would like payback, so he has an opportunity to intercept this scheme.
That’s especially true since Sally’s job is on the line.
Y&R spoilers say Adam will sacrifice for Sally’s sake, so what’s he going to sacrifice? Could it be Adam’s chance at revenge?
Victor is desperate to defeat Ashland once and for all, so he might promise to talk Victoria into keeping Sally as Newman Media’s CEO – that is if Adam cooperates on a plan to dupe Ashland.
Adam will be in the prime position to do it since Ashland will think they’re on the same side.
Ashland might once again fall for a Newman’s trap, which would certainly please Victor.
During the week of July 18-22, Ashland will find himself in a tight spot. Viewers will see Ashland get cornered and feel like there’s no way out.
That doesn’t sound like a guy who’s doing great with manipulative Adam backing him up!
We also know Adam will catch Sally by surprise and reveal something huge, so that could involve his sacrifice for her sake and this Ashland deception plot.
For whatever reason, the writers love repeating this theme of running cons when it comes to Ashland’s storyline, so it won’t be surprising if Adam runs one more.
Ashland may soon find that he’s been deceived again and wonder if it’s even worth it to keep fighting the Newmans.
Victoria and her family members are certainly proving to be formidable opponents, so Ashland has more obstacles ahead of him.
