The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) may get a Jabot job offer if Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) pitches that they should team up against Newman Enterprises. Let’s consider a strategy Adam might use to score a reunion with Sally and destroy the enemy.
For starters, there have been some hints in Y&R spoilers and the show’s dialogue to suggest a Newman-Abbott war is brewing.
It feels like we’re inching toward the Abbotts and Newmans once again being a huge rivalry.
These families have found a peaceful coexistence lately, but Adam’s decision to work at Jabot could be step one toward stirring the pot.
It looks like Adam will accept Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) offer to work there, so he may lead the charge when it comes to being fierce Newman competition.
Adam supported Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) revenge when he thought it’d be about targeting Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) company.
The only reason Adam backed off that support was because he grew fearful about Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) safety.
Once Adam is at Jabot, he’ll be in the prime position to target Newman Enterprises himself.
However, there’s a little snag in this plan since Sally works at Newman Media, which is obviously part of the big Newman picture.
If Adam goes after Newman, that could hurt Sally as well – especially if things get bad enough that they have to start cutting divisions.
Adam still loves Sally and hates the Newman family for turning him into this outsider, so why wouldn’t he want to lure Sally away from all that?
It’s easy to see that Adam’s having a hard time with this breakup.
Adam thought he was doing the right thing, but the better plan would be to create or find a job for Sally that’s even better.
Jack has moved past his issues with Sally for the most part and knows how talented she is. If Adam wants to hire Sally at Jabot, Jack would probably be on board.
At some point, Adam might try to lure Sally away from Newman Media with a confession of love and a promise for a brighter future.
Maybe Adam will drop the act and insist Sally should team up with him at Jabot instead of staying at Newman.
That way, Adam wouldn’t have to deny his feelings for Sally or stick to this breakup so she could keep her spot.
Adam also wouldn’t have to worry about Sally getting caught in the fallout of his own Newman destruction.
Unfortunately, an offer like that might be too little, too late.
Sally has been burned badly and is awfully stubborn, so she might reject any reunion plan or Jabot job offer.
Even so, that may not stop Adam from trying somewhere down the road!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam may ultimately fight for a future with Sally, but will she be receptive to it?
