The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will make a portrait swap and remove all traces of Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) at Newman Enterprises. The new CEO will take charge in a big way, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
During the week of June 13-17, Y&R spoilers say Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will deliver some surprising news to Adam. When Victor reveals he’s handing over the reins at Newman, Adam may be taken aback over it happening so fast.
Adam probably thought he’d have to lobby a bit harder to take over for Victoria, so he should be pleased over Victor having faith in him. Of course, Victor may leave out his true intentions.
The real goal of all this will be to get a reaction out of Victoria, who should be in New York by the time the CEO change is announced. Victor will hope that once Victoria gets updates, she’ll find the thought of Adam running the show unbearable and hightail it back home.
Would Victor hand the company back over to Victoria in that case? This is something that could become an issue eventually, but it may not be one anytime soon since Victoria is so committed to her future with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).
Adam might feel betrayed if he knew Victor’s real agenda – but then again, Victor might spell it out when he’s putting Adam in charge. Maybe it won’t matter to Adam, who believes he can prove his worth if he’s just given a chance.
Adam will indeed get that chance, so Victor’s ulterior motives may not be a factor to him since he’s brimming with confidence. Whether Adam’s left in the dark or told exactly what Victor has in mind, he’ll savor this opportunity to reclaim the Newman throne.
Adam will waste no time in taking Victoria’s portrait down and will likely prepare to put his own up in its place. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will be unbelievably proud of Adam and will toast to his successful CEO takeover soon enough.
Adam will want to do such a good job that Victor forgets all about Victoria’s time in charge. We’ll see a smug Adam who hopes to show the world he belongs in the CEO spot, but pride often comes before the fall!
