At this point, Victoria seems rather greedy and vindictive for wanting to take Newman Media away from Adam.
If it hadn’t been for Adam blocking Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Victoria’s beautiful wedding in Tuscany would’ve turned into a dreadful spectacle.
It’s bad enough that Victoria decided to swoop in and grab ChancComm, but now she’s pressing her luck and going after the company Adam currently runs.
Victoria is mainly doing this to stick it to Adam, so it’ll serve her right if he fights back.
It’s time for Victoria to be taken down a notch since Adam has genuinely tried to make amends and build some form of a relationship with her.
Sadly, it’s becoming increasingly obvious that Victoria is never truly going to accept Adam’s olive branches.
In the coming weeks, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will worry about all the conflict happening among the Newman children.
It’s clear that big trouble’s brewing. Other Y&R spoilers confirm that Billy’s scheme – which Victoria has now joined – stands a very good chance of backfiring.
We also know Ashland will start to get concerned about Victoria’s motives and may feel like targeting Adam just isn’t worth the risk. Perhaps the stage is being set for Adam to have the last laugh!
Adam expects this kind of plan from someone like Billy, but Victoria is getting down in the mud for no reason.
Victoria could just mind her own business – or better yet, show some Newman loyalty and warn her brother about Billy’s ridiculous plot.
It’s true that Adam and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) set a trap for Billy first, but he deserved what he got.
Victoria essentially gave the green light on that elaborate plan anyway, so what really matters is the here and now. We’re looking at a situation where Adam might decide enough is enough.
Billy may carry out some absurd stunts with Victoria’s help – perhaps to the point where they believe Adam has taken the bait and intends to publish a scandalous false story about Billy.
Wouldn’t it be a great twist if Adam blows up another story entirely?
What if Adam uncovers the truth about Ashland’s lung cancer and realizes he never had a deadly diagnosis?
Adam might put the best Newman private investigator on the case and come up with the story of a lifetime.
This could really send Newman Media’s numbers skyrocketing, but it’d also cause another round of family mayhem.
Victor wouldn’t be happy about Adam putting Newman-Locke at risk and making Victoria look like a fool as CEO, but Adam might consider all that collateral damage.
Adam may become so fixated on putting Victoria in her place that nothing else matters.
Ashland is a liar who’s only loyal to Victoria, so Adam would have no problem taking him down in the process.
Bottom line, there are some signs in spoilers that suggest Ashland’s illness isn’t legit.
There are also clues about Billy’s plot going awry and Newman-Locke facing a crisis.
Maybe Adam will weave this tangled web together by exposing Ashland’s deception and delivering a good dose of payback for Victoria.
