The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) could find themselves on the same side for once. Victoria doesn’t trust Adam and normally has no use for him, but that could change due to a mutual problem.
Adam clearly doesn’t like the fact that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is always trying to ride to Chelsea’s rescue.
Although Adam assured Chelsea that her recovery comes first, that doesn’t mean he really approves of Billy’s role in her life.
Billy’s obsession with Chelsea is bad news as far as Adam’s concerned.
Now that Chelsea is starting to lean on Adam a bit more, Y&R spoilers suggest that’ll give him even more incentive to keep Billy away.
Adam wants to focus on his family now, so he might begin to like the idea of reuniting with Chelsea romantically and being there for Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) as parents in a committed relationship.
Meanwhile, Victoria doesn’t approve of the way Chelsea and Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) are starting to bond.
It took some time for Johnny to get used to Chelsea being his birth mom, but now he’s warming up to Chelsea and beginning to connect with her.
Billy is obviously all for Johnny being part of Chelsea’s world, especially after everything she’s been through.
Since Chelsea has a gift she wants to give Johnny, the plan is for them to get together for Christmas with Connor present as well.
Of course, Billy may stick around for the holiday fun, so this could look like a new family forming from the outside looking in.
Victoria and Adam may fume over Billy, Chelsea, Johnny and Connor creating this little unit without them.
That might give Adam and Victoria a reason to form an alliance and make some updates to the situation.
It’s easy to imagine Victoria blaming Billy’s influence when it comes to Chelsea and Johnny’s connection.
Victoria might decide she can create some distance between Johnny and Chelsea if she removes Billy from the equation.
Likewise, Adam would prefer for Billy to take a giant step back, especially now that he could be spending more time with Connor, too.
The last thing Adam wants is Billy filling any kind of stepfather type of role to his son, so he’d have a motive to shut this down if possible.
Could Adam and Victoria do some plotting together? Will Victoria and Adam end up on the same side in the fight against Chelsea and Billy’s bond?
