The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will visit Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) facility after a discovery. It looks like these exes will grow closer through a vulnerable moment, so here’s what Y&R fans can expect.
Adam has been struggling to figure out what’s going on, but he can tell Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) are in the loop.
Since Chelsea dropped off the map and bailed on Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) without warning, Adam has a right to know what’s up.
Of course, Adam saw that Chelsea was upset on the rooftop in Billy’s arms. The next day, Adam witnessed Sharon and Billy having an intense conversation.
That led to Adam cornering Sharon and demanding answers, so she may have provided some offscreen.
Although Sharon doesn’t want to betray Chelsea’s privacy, Adam shares a child with her and has to have at least some information.
Adam is a smart guy, so Sharon probably didn’t have to say much for him to get the picture.
At some point, it should click into place for Adam that Chelsea was distraught enough to attempt suicide.
Adam will also learn where Chelsea is getting the help she needs, so he should visit her sooner or later.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea will see Adam in a new light during the week of November 7-11, so that may involve him stopping by.
Adam might get vulnerable with Chelsea and wish he could’ve done more to prevent her scary ordeal.
Perhaps Adam will blame himself for putting Chelsea on such a difficult path and become emotional.
As Sharon pointed out, suicidal thoughts can come from a variety of sources. This isn’t just about Adam or any one thing that affected Chelsea.
It’s a cumulative effect since Chelsea feels like she’s lost control of her life and was looking for a way to stop the pain.
Chelsea should be touched once Adam admits he’s glad she’s still around – and not just for Connor’s sake.
Adam cares about Chelsea as well and won’t know what he would’ve done if her rooftop jump had been successful.
Chelsea may open up to Adam in return and grow closer to him, so Y&R writers could keep the “Chadam” pairing alive with some tender scenes.
There may be hope for Adam and Chelsea’s future once she’s on the road to recovery.
