The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) may plot an attack on Newman Media, so he could go after Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) for Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) suffering.
Y&R fans know how hard Adam fought to keep Sally in power at Newman Media. Adam even broke up with Sally to distance himself and make sure he didn’t hold Sally back from a future with the company.
Of course, Adam later regretted his actions and tried to win Sally back. That whole plan turned out to be pointless since Sally recently got fired from Newman Media anyway.
Now Victoria is letting Nate take over as Newman Media’s CEO, but Adam isn’t going to be happy about this. Adam may not be a couple with Sally anymore, but he still cares about her and sees himself as her protector.
Sally doesn’t need Adam to be her hero, but he can’t seem to help himself. That’s especially true since Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has made his own romantic interest in Sally known.
Although Adam acted like he was willing to let go, saying that and actually doing it are two different things. Adam will no doubt want to step up for Sally once he gets updates on her firing.
Since Sally might balk at Adam’s attempt to comfort her, he could try a different strategy and plot a Newman Media attack. Adam might want to target Victoria as well as Nate for sliding in Sally’s spot so willingly.
Nick couldn’t stop Victoria from giving Sally the boot, so he’ll inevitably face Adam’s wrath, too. Adam is the co-CEO alongside Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) at Jabot, so he’s got resources when it comes to going after Newman Media.
Perhaps Adam could push for a rival division with Sally at the helm or just find some other tactic to annihilate the competition. Regardless, it seems like it’ll be hard for Adam to let Sally’s job loss slide.
We know Adam will find ways to attack Newman Enterprises during November sweeps, so Newman Media could certainly be one of his top targets. As other Y&R news rolls in, we’ll keep you posted.
