The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) emotional plea may come too late, so Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) could ultimately reject his apology and reciprocate the heartbreak.
No one can say that Sally hasn’t tried her hardest to knock some sense into Adam.
Most women might’ve walked away early on, but Sally is a fighter and couldn’t let love slip away without putting some real effort into saving it.
However, Adam stood his ground and now it’d be pathetic for Sally to keep begging.
At some point, Sally has to move on and start living her life again, so that’s exactly what she’s going to do.
We’ll see Sally and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) find their groove as a team once more with their work at Newman Media.
There’s a good chance Sally will exceed Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) expectations with Chloe in her corner and keep her successful career going strong.
Unfortunately, Adam’s going to be miserable without Sally, so that could weaken his resolve.
Sally predicted that Adam would eventually realize his mistake, but she feared by then it would be too late.
Whether Sally has moved on with another guy like Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) or just doesn’t want to get dragged back into Adam’s drama, Sally may indeed tell Adam it’s too late down the road.
It felt like a pretty significant warning that would be revisited when the time is right.
At some point, Adam may decide he just can’t take the pain of being apart from Sally anymore.
Perhaps Adam will make an emotional plea for forgiveness and hope Sally can understand that he was trying to make a sacrifice in the name of love.
Adam just wanted to make sure Sally had a chance to thrive as Newman Media’s CEO, but he ignored her wishes in the process.
Now that Adam has severed their bond and shattered Sally’s heart, she may warn they can’t just pick up the pieces and start over.
Sally may be the one to dash Adam’s reunion dreams next and give him a taste of his own medicine in some ways.
Adam and Sally could still end up back together eventually, but Y&R may milk all this angst and heartache for all its worth!
