The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) could deliver a surprise marriage proposal. Will Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) end up shocked over Adam’s impulsive move?
Adam has always been the kind of guy who makes bold moves when he’s falling hard for someone.
After all, Adam proposed to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) when they weren’t even dating, so it’s not farfetched to think he’d propose to Sally out of the blue.
That’s especially true since Sally is the one stable thing in Adam’s life that he can trust right now.
Sally has proven that she has Adam’s back, which means the world to him when he constantly feels disrespected by his family.
Will Adam reward Sally’s loyalty by popping the question?
Adam might decide he wants to lock in a future with Sally ASAP since they both agree this romance feels right.
Since Adam’s emotions are all over the place right now, it would make sense for him to pull a stunt like this.
Plus, it could explain Y&R spoilers for the week of July 18-22, which point to Adam’s curveball catching Sally by surprise.
Adam will drop some sort of bomb on Sally, so maybe that could involve proposing to her.
Of course, it’s also possible this will relate to Adam’s vengeful side and whatever he might have in store for the Newmans.
It looks like Adam may go back and forth on whether he wants to seek payback – mostly because he’ll want to protect Sally’s spot at Newman Media as long as she wants it.
There’s no guarantee Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will let Sally remain in charge of the media division indefinitely, so we’ll see how that goes.
Regardless, Sally and Adam’s relationship has been deepening lately.
Adam can be a real wildcard when he’s pushed to his breaking point like this, but that doesn’t always mean his impulsive moves are bad ones.
Perhaps Adam could make a grand romantic gesture in this case and ask Sally to marry him.
That doesn’t necessarily mean Sally would accept, but it would certainly qualify as a shocker since we know one’s coming for her!
