Y&R fans know Nate has repeatedly assured Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) that there’s nothing to worry about, but he’s underestimating Imani and her sizzling abilities.
There have been some ominous hints about this launch party night changing everything – and the trouble should start with Nate’s big speech.
Thanks to Imani’s terrible advice, Nate will give away too much during his turn at the mic.
After Nate spills about the 50 podcasts Chancellor-Winters has in the works, it’s bound to provoke Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) fury and cause a fierce fight.
Nate and Devon will both be frustrated with each other by the end of this confrontation.
Once this family feud heats up, Imani will offer Nate a distraction. Of course, we know exactly the kind of distraction Imani might have in mind!
Imani will be in the prime position to convince Nate to fall into bed with her.
Since this party’s happening at The Grand Phoenix, it’d be oh-so-easy for Imani and Nate to sneak off to a suite.
However, there could be a problem since Y&R spoilers point to a surprise for Amanda during the week of June 20-24.
Amanda will get some stunning news that could turn her relationship with Devon upside down.
What if Amanda’s shocker is the fact that Nate and Imani landed in bed together?
Maybe Amanda could spot Imani and Nate emerging from a suite looking disheveled or something along those lines.
It could lead to Amanda confronting Imani and getting a confession, so that’d leave Amanda in a tight spot.
Amanda wouldn’t want to disrupt the already delicate balance at Chancellor-Winters – nor would Amanda want to see Elena get hurt.
There’s also the matter of Devon, who still cares about Elena and would be livid if Nate slept with Imani.
That’s on top of Nate’s speech betrayal at the launch party, so Amanda might think there’d be no coming back from all that.
In other words, Amanda would have some good reasons to keep Imani and Nate’s hookup under wraps.
At the same time, Amanda would hate keeping secrets from Devon, especially if she feared the cheating could continue.
It makes sense to put Amanda in this horrible situation and have her hide the truth for a while – setting the stage for an explosive blowup later.
Will Imani get steamy with Nate and then get caught by Amanda? Will Amanda keep quiet about the betrayal that seems to be brewing?
