The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) may be dead after a Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) showdown goes wrong. Protecting Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) may end in a Newman crisis, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
For starters, we know that Nick’s going to land in a situation where he feels the need to take charge.
That lines up with Nick showing up at Victoria’s house when she’s in trouble, which is what’s going to happen after Ashland stalks Victoria in her own home.
Victoria finds it difficult to believe that Ashland would become dangerously violent, but that indeed seems to be where this story is headed.
Y&R has been telling us that Ashland is the ruthless “Locke-ness Monster” for what feels like forever, so it’s high time that they prove it.
When there’s no answer at the front door, Nick will feel the need to go through the back way and check on Victoria.
Since the lights will be on, Nick will believe Victoria is inside and won’t want to leave until he knows for sure that she’s all right.
There’ll just be some nagging feeling that something’s amiss, so Nick will sneak in through the back and ultimately face a total nightmare.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashland will launch an angry attack, so it sounds like he’ll get physical with Victoria and force Nick to intervene.
Nick might take a page out of Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) playbook since fans will recall how she whacked JT Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) in the head with a fireplace poker to protect Victoria.
Now Nick might have to go for a similar strategy and try to knock Ashland out.
hen again, Nick might shove Ashland away and cause him to hit his head in a fall.
However, things won’t go quite like Nick expects, so Ashland may wind up dead rather than unconscious.
There’s even a chance that Ashland will suffer a heart attack due to the stress of all this – leaving him begging for help on the floor.
It might be interesting if Victoria convinces Nick to just let Ashland die instead of calling for an ambulance.
There are some hints about Nick’s moral dilemma during the week of July 25-29, so he might battle guilt in the aftermath.
It certainly sounds like some form of a Newman cover-up is brewing, so Nick and Victoria may find themselves in this mess together.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say some shocking moments are on the way as Ashland’s reign of terror comes to a screeching halt.
