The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) may fake a cardiac episode after Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) accusations. It looks like Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) will panic over the setback and blame Victor in the aftermath.
After Victor does some strategizing with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), he’ll confront Ashland with the truth.
Victor will reveal what he’s learned about Ashland’s falsified medical records and insist he’s got the proof to back it up.
Ashland will play it cool, but he’ll get nervous deep down.
Victor will make it clear that he wants Ashland to fess up, get out of Victoria’s life and walk away from Newman-Locke forever.
Of course, Ashland won’t want all his hard work to be for nothing!
Ashland will decide to resort to a dirty trick and hope it keeps Victoria on his side instead of her father’s.
Ashland will ignore Victor’s threat of consequences if he doesn’t surrender to the ultimatum.
It seems Ashland will be smug enough to think he can keep his deception going, even after Victor comes forward with this evidence.
Y&R fans can expect some scary moments for Victoria as Ashland clutches his chest in pain, as if he’s having a heart attack.
Based on the spoilers and Ashland’s over-the-top performance, it looks like he’ll be a big faker!
Ashland will apparently be trying to score Victoria’s sympathy and get her to turn against Victor for causing his health crisis.
The plan will work with Victoria initially, but Victor will see right through the strategy and keep working on Ashland’s takedown.
For starters, Victor will grill Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) once Ashland is presumably hospitalized and examined.
Perhaps Victor will push Nate to confirm that there’s no sign of a real heart attack this time around, but Nate may once again argue that he can’t divulge any private medical info.
Even so, Nate may start to see the light when there seems to be no sign of a setback. He’ll surely have to wonder if Victor is right about Ashland pretending.
That goes for the lung cancer and Ashland’s latest cardiac episode.
In other words, Ashland’s first heart attack was real, but this one should just be another attempt to manipulate the situation.
Victor will have a few tricks of his own up his sleeve, so Ashland had better watch his back!
