The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) will land in jail, so he’ll end up miserable in a cell after Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) strikes hard.
Victor will put Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) to work on an important new assignment – and we all know Michael would love to return the favor of putting Ashland behind bars.
Since Michael spent a good chunk of time in a Peruvian jail cell of his own, it’ll be sweet revenge once Ashland’s locked up in Genoa City.
As for how Ashland will get stuck in this jam, that won’t be all that difficult to pull off.
If Ashland is provoked into a violent attack, that might be one strategy to get him arrested.
Another one might be luring Ashland into a trap so that he’ll violate the restraining order that prevents him from seeing Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez).
No matter how this plays out, Ashland will find himself sitting on a cot in lockup at the GCPD.
As you can imagine, Ashland won’t be a happy camper, so he may be even more determined to get revenge on the Newman family.
However, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will quickly make himself useful once he rejoins Newman Enterprises.
Y&R spoilers say Nick will keep his eyes and ears open when it comes to Ashland.
That’ll lead to Nick taking charge of a tricky situation during the week of July 18-22 – one that could back Ashland into yet another corner.
Whatever the case, Ashland’s string of bad luck isn’t over yet!
Although Ashland may hold out hope that he can get some payback using Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) as a pawn, he’ll face some setbacks and realize the Newmans are more powerful than he thought.
Will Ashland’s exit involve a lengthier prison stint, a murder mystery or some other departure outcome?
Regardless, Ashland’s time on the show seems to be winding down.
