The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) will threaten to destroy Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) life and ruin his medical career. Ashland will fight back over his private records and Nate’s vow to confirm the truth to Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle), so let’s discuss all the drama.
Y&R viewers know Nate has multiple reasons to doubt Ashland at this point.
He realizes Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) wouldn’t be so upset if he didn’t think the accusations had merit.
Nate is extra concerned since Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) came to him as well. As Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) pointed out, Nick is the “Newman with a heart of gold.”
There’s no way Nick would be fighting to expose Ashland and crush Victoria unless it was absolutely necessary.
Ashland himself also raised red flags for Nate during their recent interaction, so Nate will trust his doubts and dig into all this.
That means Nate will score hospital evidence, including X-rays that were taken right after Ashland’s heart attack – ones that show no sign of lung cancer at all.
Nate will also look into Ashland’s chemotherapy sessions and realize there’s no proof Ashland ever went to any. After Nate confronts Ashland about the latest evidence, Ashland will once again deny, deny, deny!
However, Nate will stand his ground this time and argue that Victoria doesn’t deserve all this deception.
When it becomes obvious that Ashland can’t keep Nate on his side, Ashland will get downright nasty with him.
We’ll see Ashland deliver a harsh threat regarding Nate’s medical reputation. Ashland will warn Nate about what a powerful man he is and will promise he’s capable of total ruin.
If Nate dares to share Ashland’s private records with Victoria or do anything that might go public, Ashland will vow to get revenge. He’ll intend to turn on Nate and make sure what’s left of his medical career goes up in flames.
Ashland will try to convince Nate that it’ll destroy him and could perhaps cause Elena to get caught in the blowback.
Nate will fear for Victoria’s well-being once Ashland gets so vicious, but he’ll also have to worry about the life he’s building with Elena and how this could affect them both.
Nevertheless, there’s no way Nate can stay silent knowing what he knows – and that means he’ll make a fierce enemy out of Ashland soon enough! We’ll provide updates as other Y&R news emerges.
