The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) dead body could ruin a Friday the 13th wedding. Will a murder mystery kick off at Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) reception?
The April 11 episode will bring Tessa and Mariah’s excitement over their chosen May 13 wedding date.
However, their loved ones will be rather weirded out over them getting married on Friday the 13th.
Mariah and Tessa will insist nothing but good luck awaits on their journey together, but they’re tempting fate with this cursed choice.
Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will look uneasy and insist this is a bad idea.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will also point out it could give their guests the heebie-jeebies, so all the alarm bells have to mean something.
It’s just tough to believe that Y&R will let a Friday the 13th wedding happen without some misfortune!
By choosing that wedding date, Tessa and Mariah have set the stage for something creepy to go down.
Of course, there’s no sign of trouble in Mariah and Tessa’s relationship. They should tie the knot as planned, so that’s not the issue here.
We’re more inclined to think Nick’s hint about the creeped-out guests will be right.
What could be creepier than a dead body surfacing – perhaps at the ‘70s glam reception?
Just when it looks like Tessa and Mariah’s wedding is going to conclude without incident, Ashland’s corpse may appear at the venue.
Even if Ashland isn’t an invited guest, he could still end up at the same location and bring the Friday the 13th horror that most of us expect.
Back in the early stages of planning their wedding, Mariah and Tessa actually considered a murder mystery theme.
Although they later backed off that idea, they may get the real thing once the nuptials actually play out.
There’d be no better time to kill Ashland off and finally begin the much-buzzed-about murder mystery than Friday the 13th!
