The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) will come up with a frantic escape plan, so that’ll be a last resort as the Newmans fight back. Ashland will feel the walls closing in and apparently decide that fleeing the country is his best option.
Of course, Ashland had a chance to leave Victoria Newman-Locke’s (Amelia Heinle) life quickly and quietly, but he didn’t take it.
Since Ashland went against Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) orders, the deal is off!
Victor won’t want Ashland to get away with what he’s done and surely won’t let this guy just disappear into the night.
There could be another reason to worry if Ashland’s escape plan involves taking Victoria with him.
Victoria has been battling doubts about Ashland since the evidence is overwhelming.
However, Ashland keeps insisting that he’d never deceive Victoria with such a heinous scam.
Victoria loves this man with all her heart, so it’s easy to see why she wants to believe Ashland’s telling the truth.
The alternative is accepting that Ashland is a monster who’d lie about having cancer just to lock her into a marriage and a merger.
Nevertheless, there does seem to be part of Ashland that truly loves Victoria.
We could see Ashland decide to put that love above all else and beg Victoria to run away with him.
Unfortunately, that could also bring grave danger if Victoria rejects Ashland’s offer and perhaps finally dumps him.
Ashland might get desperate and resort to kidnapping, so that’s something to keep in mind.
Then again, it’s also possible Victoria could decide to go willingly – that is if she continues to let Ashland pull the wool over her eyes.
Victor and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will have another strategy session as they work to help Victoria, but Y&R spoilers say Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) could go rogue with a plot of his own.
This will turn into a total Newman nightmare any way you slice it, so some great drama’s brewing!
