The biggest hint about this comes in Ashley’s preview information specifically.
Y&R spoilers say Ashley’s alliance with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will lead to unforeseen consequences.
This will set the stage for Ashley to revisit a difficult chapter of her past and will cause her to stick around Genoa City for a while.
Of course, we know Diane is texting someone powerful enough to pull strings.
Diane is also eager to keep her partnership with this person a secret, which implies that many people in GC would know who her ally is.
It looks like the show’s gearing up for another big reveal once Diane and Tucker’s connection is exposed.
As for the part about Ashley’s difficult history being revisited, she’ll inevitably face a flood of troubling memories – including the fact that Tucker cheated on her with Diane.
Although Ashley loved Tucker, that wasn’t enough to keep their marriage alive since there were so many betrayals and levels of distrust in their relationship.
Ashley will surely be outraged when she finds out Diane and Tucker have some twisted alliance going on now.
Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) had plenty of issues with Tucker as well and will inevitably get dragged into all the drama.
Diane will make another mess and give everyone another reason to hate her, but she’ll hope to keep Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) on her side.
That could be easier said than done with Ashley’s fury at an all-time high, but Diane will fight hard to keep the progress she’s made with the Abbott men.
Even so, you can bet Diane and Tucker’s partnership will cause problems if that’s truly where this storyline is headed next.
