The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) will have a showdown over Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). This neglected girlfriend’s heart may be up for grabs, so Daniel could take advantage of the opportunity.
Daniel has been cagey about his relationship with Heather Stevens (Jennifer Landon), but it’s obvious that they’ve split and are keeping it quiet.
The door’s wide open for Daniel to find new love – or perhaps rekindle an old flame now that he’s bonding with Lily again.
Daniel and Lily’s familiar chemistry is still there, so it’s been easy for them to fall back into a familiar groove.
Lily hasn’t crossed any lines with Daniel yet, but their friendship is pulling them closer while Billy drifts toward Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) instead.
During the week of December 12-16, Billy will basically accuse Lily pushing Chelsea to keep her distance.
That’s not what Lily did, so she’ll refuse to take the blame and will lash out at Billy for chasing after the high of being Chelsea’s savior.
Billy will suspect that Lily feels threatened by his connection to Chelsea – and she probably does despite the denial she’ll give him.
Who wouldn’t feel somewhat threatened in Lily’s situation?
We can understand why Billy feels obligated to see Chelsea through this ordeal, but he’s practically acting like Chelsea is his girlfriend instead of Lily.
As Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) said, it’s “The Billy and Chelsea Show” all the time now!
Of course, this is on top of Billy bailing on his role at Chancellor-Winters and his flighty behavior in general.
Lily can’t depend on Billy at all, but Daniel is quickly becoming a stable presence in her life and source of great comfort.
Billy may be the one who feels threatened when he catches Lily and Daniel together once again.
Daniel may even have Lily in his arms – and that’ll be Billy’s fault for creating so much drama.
Once Daniel encourages Lily to open up to him, she may pour her heart out sooner or later.
Billy may sense that he could lose Lily to Daniel, so that could be part of why a showdown’s brewing over the woman they both want.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Daniel and Billy will do some serious clashing, so stay tuned.
