The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will discover Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) betrayal, so the bond between these exes should shatter over her dirty takeover move – at least for a while.
Billy was livid when he found out Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) had been feeding info to an unknown CEO.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) suspected that maybe Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) was the one working with Nate, but now he’s not so sure.
Of course, Y&R fans know it’s Victoria who partnered up with Nate instead, so that shocker will have to come out eventually.
Billy wants to figure out who Nate’s secret ally was, but he obviously doesn’t expect to learn the mother of his children was involved.
Victoria and Billy’s relationship has already taken a bit of a hit lately thanks to the Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) situation.
Billy gave Victoria a nudge when it came to moving forward with Chelsea’s plan, which involved telling Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) the truth about who his bio mom was.
That plan turned out to be a total disaster, so Victoria took some of her anger out on Billy.
Victoria got fed up with all the sympathy Billy was showing Chelsea as well, so it just feels like the bond between these co-parents is fractured.
It may shatter completely once Billy finds out Victoria was plotting against his place of employment.
Billy may not love his job at Chancellor-Winters, but he’s still been an integral part of the company.
Chancellor-Winters is something that matters a great deal to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), so Billy will fume over Victoria’s attack.
Once Billy gets updates on Victoria playing dirty, he’ll inevitably want to confront her.
Victoria may argue that business is business and point out that her plot failed anyway, but Billy will still be furious.
It may take some time before Billy and Victoria’s relationship can be repaired, so we’ll see if this affects how they interact as co-parents.
This could take a toll on their family at an already difficult time if Victoria and Billy let it.
