The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) may go after the Jabot throne. Will Billy plot to steal the CEO seat away from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)?
Billy has been trying to stay on the right path, but Jack’s latest decision could throw off that plan.
Y&R viewers know Billy struggles to control his risky side when it comes to his obsession with Adam.
Now that Jack has hired Adam as his co-CEO, it’s thrown Billy into angry turmoil.
It’ll be hard for Billy to just let this go, so he may fixate on Adam and his desire to get him out of the family company.
Although Billy hasn’t worked at Jabot in quite some time, that could change.
After all, Billy’s whole storyline at Chancellor-Winters has resolved around him feeling like an outsider.
Billy doesn’t feel like he fits in this vision Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) has created for her family since he’s not part of that family.
It makes sense for Billy to eventually focus on his own fam instead – especially since he ranted to Adam about his father’s legacy.
At some point, Billy may feel the need to swoop in and try to protect what John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) built.
During the week of September 5-9, Billy will confront Jack about his leadership skills.
The fact that Jack put Adam on his team will leave Billy seriously questioning Jack’s judgment.
Jack will defend his decision as well as Adam, but Billy may act like they’re both unfit for the throne.
Billy certainly won’t believe Adam is worthy, but he may act like Jack is unworthy as well since he’s enabling Adam’s next reign of terror.
Of course, Jack is hoping Adam will embrace this new beginning and become a great Jabot addition.
Billy just doesn’t see that happening, so he’ll challenge Jack to see the light and become frustrated when his efforts don’t pay off.
Perhaps Billy will ultimately seek the Jabot CEO seat for himself.
Billy might try to gather enough support from the other Abbotts to knock Jack and Adam off the throne.
It could happen, especially if Adam ends up blundering big time like Billy expects!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy will concentrate on protecting his family legacy, so that could put him deep in Abbott territory for a Jabot story sooner or later.
