The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that we may see Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) develop a flirty connection. Working together could spell trouble – particularly for Billy’s romance with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
Billy likes to talk about how happy he is in his relationship with Lily, and that seems to be true on the surface.
At the same time, there’s something missing when Billy goes deeper. He can’t quite nail down what it is, but it could lead to filling the unknown void with another woman.
Of course, there’s no better woman to step up than thirsty Imani!
Y&R fans know Imani crushed hard on Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and flirted with him despite his romance with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy).
Imani even had a little crush on Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) at one point and would probably be all over him if it weren’t for Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan).
Since Imani doesn’t want to rock the boat with her sister and Nate is moving forward with Elena, she could use another man.
Will Imani stick to her pattern of picking guys who aren’t available?
That may be where a new storyline is heading since Amanda and Imani might go to work for Chancellor Industries.
Amanda will take Billy and Lily’s job offer to Imani, so that’ll lead to the sisters making this decision together.
If they choose to accept, Amanda will serve as Chancellor’s chief counsel while Imani has a lesser role that’s suited to her skills and interests.
Y&R recently had Imani and Amanda start their own law firm, so why are they suddenly shifting gears?
What’s the point of potentially having Amanda and Imani working with Billy and Lily?
It’s easy to imagine this building to some temptation for Billy and Imani.
Perhaps Imani could work with Billy on the podcast project – leading to some late nights together and a growing bond.
Imani might also relate to feeling overshadowed at work in some ways.
Amanda will be the one calling the shots on the legal team while Lily continues to get the final say over Billy as well.
That’s the kind of thing that could put Billy and Imani in dangerous territory as they connect.
Whatever the case, Imani is seemingly about to land in Billy’s orbit, so Lily had better watch her back!
