The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) may kiss next! Will Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) fume over yet another lip lock betrayal?
Y&R fans know Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) recently planted a kiss that Billy wasn’t expecting.
Billy handled the whole thing pretty well all things considered.
We saw Billy gently clear up any misunderstandings and set boundaries with Chelsea, who was embarrassed and backed off.
Then, Billy immediately confessed the situation to Lily and assured her there was no need for concern.
Lily seemed to accept Billy’s explanation for now, but what happens if his lips wander again?
It wasn’t Billy’s fault that Chelsea planted that smooch, but a more mutual one could happen with Victoria next time around.
It’s not far-fetched since Billy and Victoria have been doing a lot of bonding lately.
Victoria and Billy’s relationship is definitely in a good place these days.
There’s a thin line between love and hate on soaps, but the line between love and friendship is often even thinner!
Victoria may be gearing up for a crisis at Newman Enterprises since she’s ready to take some serious gambles.
When all this presumably blows up in Victoria’s face, she may turn to Billy for support.
Billy always feels the need to ride to Victoria’s rescue, so he’ll be first in line to offer comfort. Between Billy’s desire to play the hero and Victoria’s vulnerability, this could all build somewhere Lily doesn’t like.
How is Billy going to explain himself if he has to confess another kiss to Lily?
Perhaps Lily wouldn’t be so quick to believe there was nothing to worry about – especially not with Billy’s most beloved former flame involved.
Victoria’s kiss would get a different reaction out of Lily, especially since it’d be the second kiss with someone other than Billy’s current girlfriend.
Of course, there’s no guarantee Billy would even confess the next time – and that could set up some trouble, too.
Bottom line, there are reasons to think Billy and Victoria are on the verge of growing even closer.
That could lead to a forbidden kiss and rile Lily up once she finds out one way or another.
