Billy and Lily’s relationship has been rolling along for quite some time, so Billy might want to take the next step soon.
Of course, there’s a lot going on between Chancellor-Winters going public and all the Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) bio mom drama, but that could be part of what fuels Billy.
With so much chaos going on in the rest of their lives, Billy may think they should cling to the one thing they can count on and trust: their love for each other.
Whatever the case, Billy will catch Lily by surprise during the week of October 10-14.
We’ll see Billy say or do something that throws Lily for a loop, so that at least presents the possibility of a marriage proposal.
Billy’s shocker could be something else instead, but it’s easy to imagine Billy’s impulsive side coming out here. When it comes to Billy, he’s always drawn to making messy decisions.
Billy is a gambler at heart, so he’s got this deep need inside him to take risks – and proposing to Lily could be a big one.
Lily might feel like it’s not the right time, but Billy could point out that there’s always going to be a reason to say that.
Life is always going to come with issues, so Billy may think they need to just get engaged anyway.
It might be smart to raise the stakes by making Lily a bride-to-be ahead of Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) return.
The show may build Lily and Billy up – only to have them fall hard later.
Then again, Lily might reject this potential proposal and make things awkward ahead of Daniel’s comeback instead.
Regardless, Daniel was Lily’s first real love and perhaps the most passionate romance she’s ever had.
It’s clear that Daniel will shake things up, but Billy could easily shake things up first with a marriage proposal bombshell.
Will Billy pop the question? Will that be how Billy catches Lily by surprise?
