The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will confess to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and most likely get some comfort over Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) couple status.
Y&R fans will recall that Adam said he had no reason to keep Sally a secret.
Adam doesn’t intend to sneak around, but he’s not looking to rub his new relationship in Chelsea’s face either.
Of course, the Newmans have also had this Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) catastrophe going on, so that’s been the priority lately.
It hasn’t left a lot of time for Adam and Sally to parade around like a real couple.
Chelsea knows that Sally is Adam’s COO and clearly suspects Sally is doing more than just working with him.
Although Chelsea is trying to stay strong and let go, part of her will always love and feel connected to Adam.
That’s especially true since Adam and Chelsea share a child.
Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) offers a forever bond that’ll make it impossible for Chelsea to shut the door on Adam for good.
Chelsea will eventually have to find out that Sally and Adam are a bona fide thing now.
Perhaps Chelsea will see the proof for herself if she witnesses a passionate kiss.
No matter how much Chelsea likes to claim she’s moving on, Adam and Sally’s official couple status is going to sting.
It could stir up some old jealousy issues and leave Chelsea needing to talk to someone.
Chelsea feels like Rey understands her on a deeper level than most people.
They’re growing closer, so Chelsea might as well use this as an opportunity to build on that bond even further.
During the week of March 21-25, Chelsea will indeed lean on Rey for support during a difficult time.
That may involve admitting she’s jealous, angry and even sad.
Chelsea might open up about her feelings regarding Adam moving forward with Sally, especially if Connor finds out and causes a fuss.
Rey may have to give Chelsea another pep talk about how she’s better off without Adam in her life romantically.
Maybe Rey will assure Chelsea that she’ll meet someone else – someone who’ll appreciate what a beautiful, talented and fascinating woman she is.
This could turn into a situation where Rey showers Chelsea with compliments to comfort her and really fuels her dangerous desires.
However, Rey seems to be developing new feelings of his own despite his marriage to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).
Chelsea’s attraction isn’t one-sided, even if Rey doesn’t want to admit it yet!
