The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) may recruit Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) for a Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) breakup mission. Chelsea will likely want Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) out of the way, so she could turn to Chloe for help making it happen.
Ever since Chelsea had that steamy dream about Rey, she’s been struggling to get him off her mind.
Chelsea feels like Rey is different from the other people in town who want to judge her for her mistakes. She truly feels seen and heard by Rey, so that’s pulling her closer to him.
Chloe recently witnessed a warm moment between Chelsea and Rey at Crimson Lights, which brought an interesting reaction.
Instead of looking concerned, Chloe actually looked quite pleased to see the two of them connecting.
Of course, that could be because Chloe doesn’t suspect anything more than friendship is going on, but there’s no denying that she was intrigued.
Chloe doesn’t think Adam is the right man for Chelsea at all, but she’d no doubt approve of a nice guy like Rey if he were single.
That’s why Chelsea might recruit Chloe for a plot to break up Rey and Sharon’s marriage.
Chloe would no doubt have some reservations about participating, but Y&R fans know Chelsea could talk her into it.
After all, Chloe did far worse by helping Chelsea with her revenge plot on Adam – the one that led to Rey getting poisoned!
Chloe didn’t have all the facts at the time, but a marriage breakup scheme still seems tame compared to Chelsea’s previous plan.
Besides, Chloe would do just about anything to make sure Chelsea truly moves on from Adam.
If they have to split Rey from Sharon to ensure that happens, then so be it.
Chloe might decide Sharon will just have to be collateral damage and trust that Chelsea will have the future she deserves with Rey.
It just seems significant that Chloe likes the idea of Chelsea and Rey bonding.
That could be a hint that Chloe will ultimately become a “Chey” shipper and agree to help Chelsea steal him away from Sharon!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea will make some bold moves and may rely on Chloe’s assistance to win Rey over.
