The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will land in dangerous territory. It looks like Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) competition will be ready for a flirty power play, so let’s talk about what we know so far.
Y&R fans will recall that Chelsea had a steamy dream about Rey that really seemed to affect her.
After all the bonding Chelsea has been doing with Rey, she couldn’t help but see him in a more passionate light.
Chelsea dreamed of Rey telling her how fascinating she was – and then she dreamed he planted a sizzling kiss.
Ever since, Chelsea has definitely struggled to get Rey out of her head.
Of course, Chelsea isn’t the type of woman to let a little thing like a marriage certificate stand in her way!
That’s especially true since Rey is married to Sharon, who kissed Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) while he was engaged to Chelsea.
As a result, Chelsea might think that gives her a free pass to go after Rey and steal him away.
However, Chelsea may not even be thinking much about a long-term plan or any consequences – at least not at first.
When Chelsea makes a risky move during the week of March 7-11, it may be more about capitalizing on a sudden opportunity or acting on what she’s feeling right then and there.
It’s easy to imagine Chelsea sharing a warm moment with Rey that gets too close for comfort.
Chelsea might let her hand linger on Rey’s a little too long or perhaps lean in for a kiss.
Even if Rey pulls away at the last second, it could be enough to convince Chelsea that he’s feeling a spark, too.
That might send Chelsea into full-blown schemer mode and make her determined to make Rey her man.
Whatever the case, there’ll apparently be some flirting and a bit of a romantic power play – one that Chelsea ultimately hopes will give her the upper hand.
It’s obvious that Chelsea is starting to want Sharon’s husband for herself, so she’ll soon take steps to achieve her goal.
